The ZKTeco MB20-VL Multi-Biometric Access Control Terminal is a compact and advanced attendance and access control device designed for offices, factories, schools, and commercial buildings. It combines visible-light facial recognition, fingerprint authentication, and RFID card verification to provide secure and flexible user identification for employee attendance and door access management.
This terminal uses ZKTeco’s Visible Light Facial Recognition technology, allowing touchless identification from about 30–50 cm distance. The deep-learning algorithm improves recognition accuracy and includes anti-spoofing protection against photos or fake faces.
The device is equipped with a 2.8-inch TFT color screen and a 1 GHz dual-core processor with 256 MB RAM and 256 MB flash memory, ensuring fast performance even when many employees are verifying at the same time. It can store around 100 face templates, 500 fingerprints, 1,000 RFID cards, and up to 50,000 attendance records, making it suitable for small to medium-sized organizations.
For connectivity, the MB20-VL supports TCP/IP networking and USB-Host communication, and optional Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling easy data transfer and integration with attendance software such as ZKBio Access or BioTime systems. It also includes basic access control interfaces to connect electric locks, door sensors, and exit buttons.
